Oloolua 5km Nature Trail  map.  Hidden away in the upmarket suburb of Karen is the 5km Oloolua nature trail, a peculiar scenery of peace and tranquillity a one of a kind oasis in the Nairobi busy capital.  A perfect place  to unwind for us cohort 5, lead market,  Despite the heavy rains being experienced at this time of the year our day was blessed with perfect warmth from the sun and we were off to explore the Oloolua nature trail.  Lead market, cohort 5. It was fun to see my fellow teammates struggle not to slip on the muddy terrain, as they wanted to capture the amazing elements of fantasy in the area such as a 20-foot waterfall, a picnic site overlooking the river, dense bamboo vegetation, caves and swamps.  Oloolua waterfall site.  The waterfall won't sound melodious without the rocks as the white water cascades from 20 foot mesmerizing and beguiling scenery.  We enjoyed these sites the most as they brought the inner and the outward peace,

"Igniting prowess🔥"

"Sometimes in life, all it takes is that one opportunity to change everything,  that was the case for me when I was introduced to lapid leaders Africa by a friend who had gone through the program. She could not stop talking about how transformative the experience was and how it helped her gain clarity about her career goals and develop essential leadership skills. At this time I was stuck in my career and was unsure of what steps to take. This captured my attention and I had to see for myself what they had to offer.  I took a leap of faith and joined the program, and the experience was imaginable, I got to connect with very knowledgeable mentors, they provided me with guidance and support and helped me discover my passion and identify my strengths and weaknesses. They also helped me to develop leadership skill which has been valuable in my personal and professional life. One thing I appreciate most in this program is the emphasis on community building, I was able to connect with l

Defining the camp experience  The camp had a unique surrounding with tall trees and monkeys chirping around, the best place for social, emotional and physical balance.  Getting to know each other, playing games and interacting with mother nature made this camp exciting, intriguing and full of fun.  camp Rowallan Bonfire section  Activities at the camp  We quickly kicked off by presenting our social Entrepreneur Businesses, then a session on social entrepreneurship by Dr Poul Moturi, this opened our minds deeper to understand how to anchor the problem we had chosen to work on as a squad,  At this point, a quick cup of tea was really necessary, before getting back to the Design thinking session and ways of pitching by MR

REBIRTH

One of the most remarkable occurrence to understand what rebirth is, we take a deep dive into the life of eagles, after 40 years they have to seclude themselves deep into the mountains to shed off their beaks, talons and feathers, this is a very painful process but to survive the next 30 years, they have to beat themselves against the wall until they shed off or they become extinct. After this process, they come out, fierce, much stronger in hunting, light in weight and dominant. The world we are living  in today is very volatile, with Technology, emerging  economics, sustainability concerns and social change being the leading cause of change-makers, as a young generation of leaders  we must be ready for these changes and be the change-makers, These changes need to start with us letting go of the old mindset and habits and stepping into the new, carrying the load of child-like mentality and sticking with the old norms will not get us even close to this change-ma
