REBIRTH

One of the most remarkable occurrence to understand what rebirth is, we take a deep dive into the life of eagles, after 40 years they have to seclude themselves deep into the mountains to shed off their beaks, talons and feathers, this is a very painful process but to survive the next 30 years, they have to beat themselves against the wall until they shed off or they become extinct. After this process, they come out, fierce, much stronger in hunting, light in weight and dominant.

The world we are living  in today is very volatile, with Technology, emerging  economics, sustainability concerns and social change being the leading cause of change-makers, as a young generation of leaders  we must be ready for these changes and be the change-makers,

These changes need to start with us letting go of the old mindset and habits and stepping into the new, carrying the load of child-like mentality and sticking with the old norms will not get us even close to this change-making process as young African leaders.

Esther Mwaniki the CEO of lapid leaders Africa, states this well in her words "One cannot go through a rebirth without having the capacity to confront himself/herself and also celebrate at the same time",  this is by asking why do I do things the way I do them and how can I change and celebrate my milestones and strengths.

Rebirth is a necessary painful process you have to go through as an individual and you have what it takes to go through the process, it calls you to mature and learn and re-learn things, it also calls you to self-mastery,  having self-awareness.

One of the fundamental things to help you go through a rebirth is knowing your purpose and breaking it down into visions, once you have comprehended your purpose and you're aligned then it is easy to go through a rebirth having your specific vision clear.

 Have a lofty, strategic vision and a community behind you to help you go through the process,  this will help you put it to plan, have accountability, the strength to carry on and the discipline to follow through until you're born again.

Rebirth starts with taking that one step of courage, sitting down with your reality before you dream. surrounding yourself with like-minded people and community to help you progress and lapid leaders Africa is that community.
